The ladies of Kizzy Scott Circle at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church in Greeleyville, SC, donate to Sarah’s Fund.
The group’s namesake, Kizzy Scott, was Sarah Timmons’ grandmother. Throughout her life, Sarah was very active in her church and this group. She especially enjoyed baking her famous pound cakes for fundraisers. It would be impossible to count how many contributions Sarah made to community causes in her lifetime through her selfless act of baking. Now, that tradition continues as the ladies from Kizzy Scott Circle lovingly prepared a donation for Sarah’s Fund.
Kizzy Scott Circle gathered donations and sent their gift to the Dolly Parton My People Senior Center, which allocates Sarah’s Fund to seniors living in Sevier County, Tennessee. Their hard work and dedication to serving others is a beautiful testament to Sarah Timmons.
