The Effect of COVID-19 Precautions on Sevier County Seniors
As a result of the recent COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak, numerous businesses and services have temporarily closed their doors. Consequently one of the businesses affected by this outbreak is Dolly Parton’s My People Center. Following its temporary closure, the facility’s employees work tirelessly to cook and deliver meals to seniors throughout Sevier County.
Sarah’s Fund Supporting Seniors Amid Pandemic
Sarah’s Fund honors the legacy of Sarah Scott Timmons by providing monthly activities and assistance for Sevier County Seniors. During these uncertain times, Sarah’s Fund is determined to continue the core mission which is to support area seniors. Thankfully, the Center’s efforts are currently funded. And Sarah’s Fund is now readily available to help provide additional financial support for this amazing effort. Now more than ever the community must band together to care for our most vulnerable.

Sarah’s Fund continues serving the Seniors of Sevier County. So, Sarah’s Fund will continue to assist Dolly Parton’s My People Center in their effort to provide meals to meals to seniors throughout Sevier County.
